The fifth edition of S’hail – the Katara International Hunting and Falconry Exhibition – continues its success story with all its brilliance since its inception in 2017 as the most prominent global event specialized in the field of hunting and falcons being hosted by the Cultural Village Foundation "Katara" having attracting 160 local, Arab and international companies representing 18 countries from around the world offering the latest types of weaponry, the best equipment and products for hunting, camping and safaris.

The second day of the distinguished exhibition recorded the visits of His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Thani, and Chief of Staff of Qatari Armed Forces His Excellency Lieutenant General (Pilot) Ghanem bin Shaheen Al Ghanim, in addition to a number of ambassadors and members of the diplomatic corps accredited to the Qatar. These included:  HE Alessandro Prunas, Ambassador of Italy, HE Mariano Segura Avila, Ambassador of the Republic of Costa Rica, and HE Chyngyz Eshimbekov, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic.

For his part, Mr. Mohammed bin Abdul Latif Al-Misnad, Vice-Chairman of the Organizing Committee of S’hail - Katara International Hunting and Falcons Exhibition, said: “S’hail has become the most prominent annual event awaited by lovers of hunting and camping. It has become the preferred destination for falconers from Qatar, the region and various countries of the world, meeting in one place to exchange experiences, knowledge and expertise, and to make deals along with the exhibition’s role in spreading and preserving the heritage of hunting and culture.”

He pointed to what S’hail brings together the largest international companies specialized in catering to the needs of hunters with high quality products at acceptable prices, and that the exhibition has become an annual economic station, attractive to falconers and safari lovers, offering wide and multiple options to acquire the latest weapons, hunting and camping equipment made according to best specifications besides spreading the culture of fishing and its values for the awareness of the new generation.

The S’hail auction on the first day of the fifth edition achieved the highest price of QAR 140,000 riyals which was won by Thamer Khamis Aman Jaber Al-Mohammed.
The exhibition audience will also be on a date today, Thursday, from 6.30 pm until about 7 pm in Building 15 of the Katara Cultural Village, with Dr. Farouk Al-Ajli giving a lecture on the Qatar Falcon Genome Project. He will also address a number of important topics.

S’hail 2021 continues to be a huge draw for falcon lovers and hunting, camping and safari aficionados.
The four-wheel drive vehicles section, which attracts big attention of visitors provides a valuable opportunity for all their needs, whether to equip their automobiles used on land and for hunting trips or for the latest equipment and accessories that fishing and falconry enthusiasts need on their trips and camps, in accordance with the highest standards of protection and security and safety requirements.

Abdullah Salem Al-Nabit, the official of the Arab World Factory for Automotive Structures, says that their pavilion provides distinguished services to those who love jungle trips while praising “S'hail 2021” for attracting major companies specialized in fishing and excursions - all under one roof.
