​Cultural Village Foundation - Katara would like to announce the launch of Katara Beach Volleyball Tournament 2016 that will be held in Ramadan on Katara beach volleyball court. Terms and Conditions:  • Participants must be more than 17 years old. • Participants are welcome from all nationalities provided they weren’t in the records of the Qatari Volleyball Association for the season of 2015 – 2016. • The teams must bear the names of Qatari cities and suburbs. • Teams must have a uniform with numbers. • Six players in each team. • Four players in the court, two substitutes on the bench, and one administrative assistant. • Players must be healthy and fit. • Teams can’t change players after the tournament commences. • The match consists of three sets, the first and the second are out of 25 points, while the tie-break is out of 15 with two point difference. • Teams can register by May 2016 ,31. Registration will close once 10 teams are registered. • QR 1000 to be paid as a bond and shall be returned once the tournament is over provided rules and regulations haven’t been violated. • To register, you need a valid Qatari identification card and a passport size photo. Championship Awards: • The first position: A trophy + gold medals + QR 30.000 cash. • The second position: A trophy + silver medals + QR 20.000 cash. • The third position: A trophy + bronze medals + QR 10.000 cash.
