​The Cultural Village Foundation-Katara is organizing the 3rd edition of the Katara Beach Volleyball Championship, To be held at Katara’s beach-court during the holy month of Ramadan (2017) Terms and Conditions: 1. Registration will start on Wednesday, 17/5/2017 2. The championship is open for males only, aged 18 years old and above 3. Registration is open to all nationalities, Qatari citizens and expatriates alike. Expatriates must possess a valid resident permit. 4. The player must not be listed in any club under the competitions of Qatar Volleyball Federation (indoor or beach volleyball) at least for the season of 2016/2017 5. The participant must be medically fit and be responsible for his own physical fitness. 6. The participating teams should be named after the cities and the regions in the State of Qatar. 7. Each team consists of (6) players only. (4) players on the court and (2) players as substitutes. 8. Registration is not valid unless a minimum of 4 players are registered for the championship. 9. Teams must ensure that their respective uniforms are consistent, with shirts numbered on the front as well as on the back. 10. Each participating team is required to pay an insurance amount of 1,000 QAR in cash. If the team doesn’t violate the rules and regulations throughout the championship, the amount will be refunded after the tournament. 11. A personal photo and a copy of a valid ID are required (valid until the end of the tournament).
