Artist Muammar Tazi is currently a Katara Art Studios artist in residence, he will be teaching an introduction course to oil painting and its historical evolution through different styles and schools of practice. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about how to select, mix and discover oil colors in the production of artwork. Elements of drawing will also be addressed and all participants will be able to experience the process of drawing an artwork, painting it and to benefit from the workshop participants’ opinions of their work.
