A practical introduction to the language of symmetry in Islamic geometric patterns. Participants will construct classical patterns using traditional drafting techniques of compasses and ruler. A new pattern will be done weekly, so participants are invited to attend multiple sessions. Suitable for all levels; new students interested in exploring the beauty of Islamic patterns as well as students with past experience wishing to practice their skills.
