​Cultural Village Foundation - Katara in cooperation with the Embassy of Republic of Kazakhstan in the State of Qatar presents Kazakh State String Quartet Concert . *Age Restriction: 6 and above The first composition of the string quartet was created in 1988 at the Republican Music School named after Akhmet Zhubanov. The fourth generation of musicians are playing in the current quartet. The founder of the creative team is its artistic director, laureate of republican, international competitions, a wonderful cellist Yernar Myntayev. The state quartet is considered one of the best chamber ensembles of Kazakhstan, it is distinguished by its high performing skills, virtuoso playing technique, beauty of sound, subtle sense of style and ensemble culture. The repertoire of the quartet is a large number of world classical music and works of Kazakhstani composers. The team is the winner of many prestigious international competitions and festivals. The quartet performs in cities of the republic, in the countries of near and far abroad, in the best concert halls of France, England, Austria, Spain, Italy, Turkey and other countries. Mentor and patron of the quartet for a long time was the head of the State Quartet. Borodin, People’s Artist of Russia, Professor V.A.Berlinsky, who gave a huge creative impulse to the ensemble, thanks to which the musicians achieve success and strive for perfection.
