Learn to Paint Portraits by Sylvia Castellanos Portraiture is one of the most complex forms of art. Learn the secrets to painting people from veteran portraitist Sylvia Castellanos. Over three days she will explain what makes for a good portrait,  the rules of anatomy for the face and the color combinations for achieving skin tones. Students will have ample opportunity to put into practice what they have learned, and to have their results critiqued by Ms. Castellanos. Students should bring two small ) canvas boards or canvases. The size 9" x 12" (22 cm x 30 cm) is suggested. All other materials will be provided.
