Katara Cultural Village Foundation and The Prince’s School of Traditional Arts are pleased to announce a series of Traditional Islamic Art Workshops in December 2012. These workshops will celebrate the beauty of Islamic geometric and nabati ornamentation and provide participants with the opportunity to learn more about how artists and craftsmen created these complex designs. The Prince’s School of Traditional Arts is one of the core charities of HRH The Prince of Wales. Its post graduate education programme is rooted in practical arts and crafts based degrees undertaken both at Masters and Doctoral levels. The work of The Prince’s School reflects HRH’s vision of encouraging an appreciation of the universal values that are fundamental to the great traditions of the world. The Outreach Programme of the School brings the principles taught in the core education programme to Doha in partnership with Katara Cultural Village Foundation. Download Schedule
