There have been several significant Architecture developments in Qatar, the exponential growth of the Nation is promoting the building of several new architectural structures, some nodding to the very modern and contemporary architectural aesthetics, others trying to conciliate both the future architectural landscape of the nation and its architectural heritage. Mr. Anmar Faris was attracted by the old style of the Qatari architecture in Souk Waqef, and the beauty of its old buildings which he visited several times to produce some of the photographs in exhibition. Mr. Anmar also visited many ancient villages and fortresses trying to capture the essence of Qatari Heritage architecture. 25 works have been selected for this exhibition and they invite the visitor to meander between heritage and future architecture landscapes in Qatar, a great opportunity for the visitor to find bridges between both.
