Based on its strategy to revive the ancient heritage of Qatar and the traditions and customs of the ancestral marine life, The Cultural Village foundation Katara Launches the third edition of the pearl diving and fishing competition (Senyar), as the beach management in Katara has received registration applications for this traditional competition from 10 until 27 March . The second edition of the pearl diving and fishing contest (Senyar) organized last year witnessed a high and intense in the competition of the Qatari youth, as the number of participants reached to 350 sailors navigating in traditional ships, from Fasht in Sealine area (south of Mesaieed) until they return to Katara Beach after they competed for four consecutive days during the pearl diving and fishing trip.
