The Qatar Photography Society in cooperation with the Cultural Village Foundation – Katara – continues to portray the experiences of GCC photographers through the exhibition series "The Gulf, Civilization & History" during the month of October 2014 in Katara. This exhibition aims to showcase the creativity of GCC photographers. It became an important annual event for the Qatar Photography Society after the great success of the last three exhibitions organized by the Society. The Society has chosen The Architecture in the Gulf as the topic of this exhibition. A portrayal of the architectural details in the GCC. The GCC has put so much effort into preserving this heritage including the designs of ancient fortresses, masajid and markets by using modern methods of renovation. The exhibition will open on the 14th of October 2014 at Building 18 for the 4th time and will continue until the 8th of November 2014. The objective of this exhibition is to consolidate the bonds of friendship, cooperation and exchange of experiences among GCC photographers. The exhibition will feature around 120 pictures of different architectural monuments from the Gulf.
