Dhows Festival Competition: Spinning Competition Hadaq Competition Diving Competition Alafah Competition Boat launching Competition Anahmah Competition  Rowing Competition The photography competition   Katara 6th Traditional Dhow festival organizing committee is pleased to announce launching  Festival's photography competition (The Best Photo). ​​ Competition's Terms and conditions: -Open to all Qatari nationals & residents (both genders), within Qatar and abroad. -The photo must express participant's artistic view about the topic of the competition that must be inspired from the site of the 6th Traditional Dhow Festival. -The maximum number of photos to participate with is (6) HD photos, submitted  on CD (image format: TIFF - JPEG, DPI: 300). -Submit your photos inside an envelope (write your name - contact number -  Email address) to the P.R & communication department in building 15, Katara. -Avoid writing any personal information or watermarks on the photos. - Significant changes  to the photos are not allowed , while slight touches will be an exception. -Winners are selected by a jury committee specialized in fine art, as the decision will be conclusive. -The deadline to submit your participation is 23 November 2016. -The winner is not allowed to use the photos in any other competition, the property rights of the winning photos reserved by the Cultural Village Foundation-Katara. ​ Prizes: -The 1st winner: 50 thousands Qatari Riyal -The 2nd winner:40 thousands Qatari Riyal -The 3rd winner: 30 thousands Qatari Riyal -The 4th winner: 20 thousands Qatari Riyal -The 5th winner: 10 thousands Qatari Riyal   The fine art competition   The organizing committee of Katara 6th Traditional Dhow Festival is pleased to announce launching Festival's fine art competition (The Best Painting):   Competition's Terms and conditions: -Open to all Qatari nationals & residents (both genders), within Qatar and abroad. -The painting must express participant's artistic view about the topic of the competition that must be inspired from the site of the 6th Traditional Dhow Festival. -The painting size is 70 x 90 (provided by Katara).    -Using only (Acrylic / Oil / watercolor) paints. -Winners are selected by a jury committee specialized in fine art,  as the decision will be conclusive. -The deadline to submit participants' contributions is by 19th of  November 2015. -The property rights of the winning paintings reserved by the Cultural Village Foundation-Katara. -Registration at: Building 14) Research & studies department.  (Morning)   Prizes:   -The 1st winner:  100 thousands Qatari Riyal -The 2n d winner: 50 thousands Qatari Riyal -The 3rd winner:  20 thousands Qatari Riyal -The 4th winner:  10 thousands Qatari Riyal -The 5th winner:  10 thousands Qatari Riyal   For more information, please call: 4408 0935   Festival's program
