The Doha Film Institute is the national organisation dedicated to building film culture in Qatar. The Katara Cultural Village was a perfect fit for our organization's headquarters as we share the common aim of developing the cultural landscape of our nation. Katara has established itself as a cultural hub and we have been honored to contribute to its vibrant slate of events through our Ajyal Youth Film Festival and a regular roster of film screenings and educational workshops. Being located alongside like-minded organizations in an environment that is a tribute to our cultural heritage is very important to the work that we do to nurture emerging talent in Qatar.
