The Katara Cultural Village organises the “School Enriches Our Culture” program for the 3rd time in a row within its framework of its interactive activities with school students in the country of private and public sector.
The program is held in cooperation with several bodies in Katara such as the Katara Beach, Doha Film Institution, Katara Art Studios, Sout Al Khaleej radio, AL Gannas Association, Qatar Music Academy, Poet Majles and Red Velvet Café.
Saad bin Moath Primary School participated in cup cake making workshop at the Red Velvet Café under the supervision of professional trainers. The students were introduced to real recipes of making and decorating cup cakes.
The students also visited katara beach and listened to detailed explanation by expert sailors about fishing and diving.
The programme aims to develop the students' skills and creativity which is essential for them along with their academic education, in addition to encourage them to discover the rich heritage in Qatar. Katara is keen to promoting this programme to enhance the student's skills according to their hobbies and interests.
The programme had witnessed a great turnout and participation by schools and educational entities in the past two editions, and had effective interaction by students.
The programme is expected to last until the end of April this year as Katara is frequently receiving school trips.
